Whom you are?

A) I'm Lou. Decided a couple years ago to make photography more than just a hobby and to use my camera(s) every day of the year. The benefits of learning the art has to be the largest gain from daily shooting. Most of the photos are from my current home of Cleveland Ohio. My birthplace of Pittsburgh Pa. is also well represented.

Why are most of your photos on another server?

A) Besides being too much work to transfer them to this server, the photos are stored at pbase for its fast DRS server and automated resizing.

You're peculiar, no?

A) Yes.

What's with your name being stamped on the bottom of your photos, are you an egomaniac?

A) I've had so many photos stolen and used over the internet without permission, that I feel with my name being stamped on them may make one feel twice before stealing. I have not turned anyone down yet, whom have asked for permission.
The name on them can be painted out or cropped but the extra work may slow down the act.

Video Page FAQ

What are the differences in the various video formats?

A) The Windows Media Player (WMP) format is the most ubiquitous video format there is. Over 70% of visitors of loumuenz.com has the software. The WMV-9 is the best codec available by WMP but Mac cannot yet view it.

QuickTime is real nice but only <15% of visitors have the software and it produces larger files when rendering to a music/stereo video/audio file.

Real Media is the perfect format for news streams such as; BBC News, yet very few visitors have the players (<9% of loumuenz.com visitors). Not many Real Media files will be available on the video page though that could change..

Below is a chart the web monkey developed to portray what format is available to either platforms.

Mac x not as of yet. x x

I have a Apple computer and love it cause I'm like unique or something. Anyway, my question is: When I click on the WMV files I recover a problem an cannot view. What am I doing wrong?

A) It is not I to judge but you may need to "save the target as" or try to open the file in the WMP directly.
